The Bi - Annual Commissioner's inspection so far has been very successful. The main objectives of these inspections are to check on material conditions of

readiness; to get a firsthand perspective on how policies and procedures are being adhered to, as well as to ensure that standards of grooming are maintained. It is also an avenue to meet and communicate with subordinates.

The drug intelligence gathering and operational components of the Royal Grenada Police Force continues to be very active in its efforts to curb the illegal drug problem . Cross fertilization and information sharing among local Regional and international law enforcement agencies played a key role in the impact the RGPF had on the supply and transshipment of illegal narcotics within the tri island state. during 2000, the Force participated in two DEA sponsored multinational operations, which yielded high results locally and regionally.
